In Minnesota we have an official club ride at least once a month
during the season (April through October), and meet a couple of times for dinner/business
meetings during the winter. Ride Captains are supposed give between 14 and 21 days written
notice of monthly club rides. We also ride whenever the weather is good and people can get
away, and as a club in events such as Minnesota Motorcycle Riders Association events,
"Flood" & "Nuts" runs, MS River Road Run, the Lightning
Run to fight Diabetes, the MDA Black 'N Blue Gala and endless other
fundraisers and events held by other clubs, and sponsor at least one annual fund-raiser
for a worthy cause.
Street Legal has sponsored "Street
Legal MC Public Law School" events at state HOG rallies in Minnesota and
Wisconsin in previous years, and ABATE University in 2006.
In June 2002 (as it did in 1998) Street Legal
co-sponsors events such as "Take a Lawyer for a Ride"
(for the lawyers) and "Street
Legal MC Public Law School" (for the bikers) in Duluth, Minnesota when the
Minnesota State Bar Association and Harley Owners Group are having their respective
convention/rally at the same time and place.

July 19, 2008 - SLMC Ride – Ride Captains are Klondike & Brady – Assemble 10:00 a.m. at Dunn Brother’s Coffee, ¼ Mile East of I-494 on Minnetonka Blvd – Depart at 10:30 a.m. SHARP – Destination is Sugar Lake by way Excelsior, Navarre, Mound, Watertown, Delano, Rockford, Hanover, and Maple Lake. Picnic at Sugar Lake includes food (burger’s brats, chicken) and beverages will be served while you socialize, swim, boat, or take a nap.

Ride will tour Anoka, Isanti, Milacs, Sherburne and Hennepin Counties, with stops in Crown, at The Refuge (a Dooley hangout), and Dayton's Bar in Dayton.
